Kara & Allen :: Wedding Sneak

Kara and Allens story dates back to when they were kids growing up and Kara used to babysit Allens younger brother.  It’s one of those love stories… you know, with the boy next door that always made you wonder.  Life sometimes has a way of pulling at your heartstrings that way.  They say, “when you know, you just know”, fortunate enough for these two they knew earlier then most.

This past weekend I had the privilege of shooting Kara and Allens wedding in northern New Jersey.  I went to High School with Kara, so I was thrilled when she reached out to me to document their day.  The wedding took place at Kara’s grandmothers house and it could not have been a more perfect backyard wedding.  They put so much effort and detail into making the day special for the two of them and it really came through in the end product.

I am always a little nervous going into ceremonies that are held outside.  I pray that the lighting will work out every time and that afternoon it definitely did.  It was perfect… sky was lit but the clouds rolled in and I got some amazing shots of Kara and Allen exchanging their vows.

This couple deserves an award or something, because they literally planned their wedding in less than three months… yes, you heard that right all your bridezillas out there:)

To Kara and Allen… thank you for being you, and for loving out loud so that I could capture every moment of it.  Enjoy!

I just thought these table numbers were the absolute cutest!  Thank goodness for etsy.com.

Cutest. Dog. Ever. Besides Bella of course:)

Love.

Hello blue door.  I heart you.

I absolutely loved the khaki linen suites with the pink and orange!  So summery and fun.

Allen just deserves a pat on the back for this ring… I mean really!

Baby girl… Sept 2010:)
